'sell out their savior for a set of new wings'

I really must look into waking up at a decent hour as a habit. it's becoming far too normal to be drinking morning tea at high noon.

playing the disappearing act for all it's worth in my house these days, since my roomate situation now is this: michelle (pesky hippie-idealist who makes me a superficial daria in comparison), zar (feline), aaron (pesky-hippie-idealist's guitar-brandishing and melancholy counterpart), and stu (iguana). and since two of those four are involved in a serious romantic relationship, and two of them lack the larynx arrangements required to speak, a little awkward thing sometimes occurs. I've been spending my time sleeping, going to school, trying to get a job, hiking near mt. baker, and basically making a bicycle ruckus of previously peaceful bellingham.
so I'm bitter about a lot of things, terrified of a few others, content with an assortment of stuff in between, but that's nothing novel and new. I am excited to celebrate our god-given nation's independence with copious amounts of food and alcohol and explosives. for now I am going on a bicycle ride for strawberries.
