Art habits

I've also gotten into the habit that:
Flash = cartoon/animated style
Photoshop = serious business
It's super awkward trying to mix it up (yeah, still can't get photoshop to work again)
I need a middle ground program, it's times like this I miss manga studio, all the fun of vectors but still felt more sophisticated. Maybe I only feel flash isn't because it's often used by computer programmers who can't draw and the people who sat down and made Macromedia Flash said "let's not make people who are so artistically challenged they draw stick figure cats feel unincluded" Again, just a feeling (and no offence to anyone who can't draw a cat without making them a stick figure in the proccess).

I made up a teaser poster for my major animation project (1000 frames and frowing)

The symbols are getting to me, I think I have over 70 by now, over 8 layers and many tweens. I can't wait unil I can dump all of that in a graphic symbol and reduce the clutter to 3 layers one symbol. I feel like I'm overlooking scenes, although at this stage they present more a hassel than a help.
I only hope when it's all done that people won't judge how shitty my art is in it (even I know that's not where the bulk of my efforts are) and just enjoy the overall effect.
