So I finally got to see Bad Religion, probably my favourite band, live. Twice! Back to back nights in Kitchener and Toronto. They may be in their early/mid 40s, but they can still rock out. They have something like 13 albums, and not only do I really like every album, I really like virtually every song on every album. I doubt I can make the same claim for any other bands. (Then again, how many bands are around for 25 years? 25!)

Since their catalog is so enormous, I was bound to miss out on some of my favourites. I think they played about 20 songs and although "I want to Conquer the World" and "Punk Rock Song" would have been awesome, I was still more than satisfied. Hearing "American Jesus" live was worth the price of admission itself.

And since when did cute girls start going to punk rock shows? When I was 14 or 15, there were maybe 4 or 5 girls who would go to the local shows regularly. The last two nights, there were hundreds of girls rocking out. Good stuff to see, but unfortunate that I missed out. I saw an especially cute girl with a mohawk at the Kitchener show. Too bad she looked about 15. :/ Constant reminders of how old I'm getting aren't good!
