Links, and possibly hallucinations

Laura and I are in the Leeebary (use something close to a Smithers voice), doing a 1500 piece puzzle of the German castle that the Disneyworld castle is based on and listening to Groove Salad through iTunes. Add the fact that I'm taking hydrocodone every 4-6 hours, and you can imagine that I'm having an odd but pleasant morning. The pain comes and goes, but I'm definitely healing. I'm happy to have a few days to do nothing but hang around the house with Laura. If I weren't recupperating, there would be all sorts of things to do. Instead, we have pleasant electronica and puzzles.

I've been collecting links for days. Here's a few of them:

Who wouldn't want an Orthodox Jewish Barbie doll? I am a bit concerned that this person thinks it is legal to dress up a Barbie doll and resell it, though.

If you are wandering through Cornwall any time soon, keep an eye out for the Hairy Christmas Fairy. He's buying people pies.

Please do not buy me a USB eye warmer for Hanukah. Or Chanukkah. Or Chakakanukah.

Speaking of the holidays, here's a list of beers to drink during each course of the Thanksgiving meal. And I thought I was a snob...

Here's a couple of actually good articles about entertainment. The coming of the Mary Poppins musical led to this article about the history of Mary Poppins that I found interesting. Also, I found a behind-the-curtains look at lonleygirl 15, a YouTube-based show of sorts, that seems like the good attempt at using the net to make a new type of entertainment program.

For my finale, I leave you with this video from a wedding reception. Friends of the bride and groom surprised them by making them play a video game based on their relationship. I was impressed.

That's all for now. I hope these are as interesting to people not taking drugs. You never really know.
