I'm posting this as much for my own reference as for anyone else's. Consumer reports has a large, free section on its web site evaluating nursing homes and talking about what to do to make sure your loved one gets good care in a nursing home. I haven't read most of it. I just heard about it on NPR and wanted to make sure I could find it again.

The grant proposal I've been working on was finally submitted yesterday. Now I can get back to doing experiments. Woo hoo!
