COURT ORDERED
So our session yesterday was canceled, the doc never made it out of court. We got a rebook for Xmas eve which would have been fine except we have to be at a friend's 3 hours before the opening. So right now we're on stand by or booked for Thursday night. What we really need is a double session, so the doc isn't looking at her watch all the time. Boy, I'm feeling really cranky right now. Not about the missed session for court, but having all this crap to have to deal with in the first place. I think extended sessions work really well, they were really helpful with J-doc, it would give us both time enough to work on something and process. It mostly always feels like we're leaving the doc's office needing to quickly dissociate to be steady enough to get up and leave. I wonder really how her other clients manage the sudden jolt of 'our time's up' get up and leave?
Thursday Ren had her session with J-doc. We discussed a bit about telling the doc about the attraction and sexualized feelings. Then she spent the rest of the time talking to Ren. I'm not entirely clear what they talked about, but mostly it was about Elgan/Him and Ren's reason for going to him. J-Doc asked her if she was going to Elgan cuz she loved him, Ren couldn't answer, but she finally admitted it was both. I just want to shake her, how could she care about Elgan/Him? I understand when it's a parent, but they're neither. It's like being punched in the gut.
Thursday night we had to go off with Terri to meet with friends. It was hard going at first till I couldn't tune out all my own feels of rage. Course then Hank had to come front cuz those cocktails, whoa, they took poor Terri by surprise. Hank drove her home. I'm glad the bar was in Wilton Manors, it's a route we're all used to driving, cuz our night vision is really screwed in the city. The light halos are getting worse. It was an interesting group of people, lots of lawyers and one straight girl who's a lesbian and who's boyfriends is seriously gay. Our friend YY is a lawyer and these were mostly her coworkers and friends, very nice bunch of people.
This brings us to today. Everyone in the house if sick, I keep telling them to stay away. Yesterday they were tarring near the office building where we had our my boob squeeze and I thought the wheeze we have was from that, but I think not today. Crap I don't wana be sick this week, it's hard enough that it's Xmas.
