He loves it there, has since first time he went. If he doesn't get into IDF he'll be back in 6 months, if he goes into IDF as just noncitizen volunteer it'll be almost 2 years, if he makes Ayliah (R of R & becomes citizen) he plans to stay and not come back but to visit after Army for 3 years.
Sorry to hear you also had can of worms day, they suck. You've had a rough time with school and such lot to deal with and therapy opening old wounds. I'm "setting" with the feelings and memories, not something I'm used to doing.

We spent two weeks in Israel earlier this year, touring with a Conservative Synagogue group from MD. It was an incredible trip and I loved it. My sister and I have plans to go back and to bring the kids next time. I wish your son all the best of luck. Israel is a wonderful country.
