You can take this job and shove it
Sooo I quit! Nobody believed that I would do it. I start Picklfish on Wednesday and I am pretty nervous. I have never worked in a non corporate enviroment so I am worried about adjusting. I think it is going to be fun. I get to work with one of my best friends so it should be great.
I still have a couple more weeks left and BBW. I am having a lot of trouble being nice to customers now that I know it can't effect my performance appraisal. Sale customers are the WORST. They want everything for dirt cheap or free. The other day a lady made me wrap a birthday present for her sister in a bag that said "THE BIG SALE" on it. I put tissue paper in the bag and tied a ribbon on top. The tackiest part is that the presents came from the %75 percent off shelf.
Yesterday a customer came in complaining to me that the $5 lotions were too expensinve and they were only $3 at the last sale. I explained to her that she was mistaken and that they have always been $5. I set up the marketing for the last sale, so I would know. She yelled at me and insisted that I change the price for her to $3. I just laughed and said no, so she left. I will probably get a complaint for that. People are so ridiculous.
