Finally
Well, this has been an eventful week.
I just got home from my first day on the job, and it was great. I'm working for Robbins Photography here in SD, doing all kinds of things (retouching, sorting, reordering, hand-tinting, etc.) for a lady I respect and admire. The hours are flexible and the store is right across the alley from the house - I walk out back and go to work. I gotta tell you, the commute is Hell!
Also, we adopted a baby on Sunday (Mao Tzu; 8 weeks old; one pound; half-siamese, half-tabby). Cutest ball of fluff EVER! He likes the color blue, no doubt because he knows it compliments his eyes, and drags blue things to his corner to sleep with.
Next week I'll be talking with a counselor for Chapman U about getting my damned degree (just my AA right now, then I'll go somewhere else for Business:marketing).
Plans to move up north are still in queue, but I'm glad to be doing something with myself in the meantime, as we don't know exactly when that's going to happen.
