Tibet. Tim frowned once his ride left, suppressing a shiver. He should have worn more layers. Nonetheless, the Boy Wonder - it felt so strange, knowing that was a name he now currently shared - pulled the hood of his parka a little lower, hiked his bag higher on his shoulder. Tim trudged up toward the complex, a grim look on his face.

In a way, he was glad Ra's hadn't wanted to meet in Gotham. Tim would be leaving it soon; better now to get used to being away. He reached the building quickly, spurred by cold and the desire to get to what he came here to do. To train.

In his bag was his uniform, his equipment, everything he might need - so he assumed. When he was led to Ra's, Tim pushed his hood back. "Nice place," he offered dryly.

Ra's head turned as he approached, expression unreadable though hardly hostile, cloaked even as his lips quirked. "Centuries ago the people of this mountain fought a long and bloody siege to protect it. The attacking kingdom was nearly unstoppable- do you know how they were defeated?" He asked, beginning to walk down the porch in a way that expected Tim to follow.

"Disease. A doctor understood the complex idea of germs, perhaps not to it's fullest knowledge but enough to destroy the army, decimate it's foreign people." He looked out on the high snows distantly. "And justice, as they say, was served."

"Something similar happened in the late 1700s, in America." Tim had followed silently, unzipping his jacket. "The British made a gift of blankets to a group of Native Americans. They were infested with smallpox; millions died."

Arching an eyebrow and the older man's back, Tim lengthened his stride, moving closer. "Justice can look a lot like genocide, Ra's."

"So can faith." Ra's answered, the barest glance back as he moved. "Whether you agree or not you must understand a man's mind before you can conquer it. That is one of Bruce's greatest weakness- his pig headed refusal to see any but his own views."

He turned as another quietly opened the door to another area, a sitting room of sorts, bowing his head and stepping away as Ra's entered. "While you are here I am Henri Ducard. You will meet 'Ra's al Ghul' soon enough." he said, quirking a brow. "Now though, is the time for answers."
