Jason slinks into Asher's yet-to-be named club, looking around at the half-finished work. That Nexus place had been some help, but it had been a bigger headache.
Far too many things for him to think about at once, especially right now. Every new person he'd met had gone on and on about how happy this other Jason was, and with a Gabe no less.
Then the 'alternates' of the people he knew started showing up. And they were happy as well. It just depressed him even more.
He figured now was as good a time as any to start working on the things that needed finished at the club.
"Asher?" He mentally hoped the vampire hadn't made it here yet, needing a few minutes alone to get his mask back in place.
