When 郭顶 Guō Dǐng was 11 he started trying to make up melodies and would record himself humming them on his tape recorder.  When he was 15 he wrote his first complete song.  Later he left Hunan to study dance at the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy where he filled his free time with music electives.  Eventually his song-writing and singing talent was discovered and he released his 1st album in 2005 when he was 19.

This is Guo Ding's 2nd release, a 4-track EP that just came out recently. (Release dates vary by source.)  Guo Ding wrote the 1st track.  I'm not sure about the rest.  If you like pop music, you should try it.
