阿修罗 Ashura
Who knew 阿修罗 Ashura was still active? I didn't. I guess they've been through a rough time. I read this on their new douban page - "2006年夏天的人员变故几乎毁掉了这个乐队" (The summer of 2006's personnel misfortune nearly destroyed this band). Maybe that has something to do with Yoyo leaving the band. In any case, here they are performing the title track from their 2005 album 唤醒沉睡的你 You Awaken from a Deep Sleep at the Zebra Music Festival in Chengdu just last month.

And they have some new songs too. Here's my favorite so far. It's kinda funky.... in a good way :)
别害羞 biè hài xiū Don't Be Shy
Ashura says it's name wasn't chosen for it's Buddhist/Hindu/Classical Chinese meanings but because it was the name of an evil character in a manhua (comic) they all liked.
