over this nice holiday weekend, when i wasn't being angry working my ass off and making little money, i went to nick's "back home" medina ohio. we were supposed to camp in his woods, but that didn't work out. his neighbor had a party. (older people party. no keg. no drugs.) but i did get pretty drunk around alot of **shudders** other people's kids, and farmish life.
nick's neighbors horses, i guess the second one is a fancy pants 40k thurobred or something. not a glue horse i suppose. no riding for me.
farm kittens!!! i was supposed to be able to have one, but alas, no new kittens for me. i guess they decided to keep them all or something. (i type this as neko jumps into my lap)
the kitten's mother. charolette.
i saw some awesome chickens too. i couldn't stop laughing at the white ones. mostly because i was drunk, and very much a city girl. i tried to take pictures and learned a valuable lesson about flash and sunlight. (many pictures were casualties.)
nick and i went to KB Toys at the outlet mall and bought a bunch of toys we didn't really use. this was the doomed flight of our osteprey kite.
on the way to the festivities.

you can barely make it out, it was the only flas+sunlight picture to almost turn out okay. it's me shooting! a baby 22 'chipmunk' rifle on the dock of nick's pond. it was kinda scary. i do not like guns at all, but being in the country kinda made it okay.
instead of camping we rented 'confessions of teenage drama queen' and 'in good company' (i usually do not have such a lack in movie snobbery please don't hold it agianst me. haha) nick loves scarlette johansen and i love skanky lindsay lohan.
nick's parents don't lock their doors. their screen doors were the only thing protecting us. and their small weiner dog. so i got all scared thinking about 'high tension' and 'tx chainsaw massacre' and every other scary movie i've ever seen. nick laughed and said i was cute then fell asleep, leaving me to fend for myself agianst every little creak and moan of the house.
i probably would've been crazy scared in the woods.
that was my weekend. it was very nice.
