the modest mouse show that katie saw yesterday came here today. and it rained. boy oh boy did it rain. i am much more intent listening with my kitten than being angry and wet elbowing teenyboppers into the concrete.

i think we should do it because it's necessary for girls like us to get lost sometimes.

i'm trying to plan out my whole summer right now. mid july it's looking like. unless i just go crazy one day and hop on a greyhound.

btw. i need some book suggestions.

yeah mid july is good. i might even be going to Chicago then. well work it out.
books:
(in order of importance you should read them as well as why you should read them)
1) She's Come Undone- Wally Lamb this is probably one of the most important books i've ever read in my life. It made me want to be a writer. I read it when i was 14 and every two years after that. Its huge, but i gaurnty it will be finished within 2 days, i haven't met a person who didn't obsess over it
2) Choke- Chuck Palaniuk (sp?) rah rah fight club etc etc. this book is one that you write the lines on the back of your hand so you don't feel like you're alone sometimes
3) The Catcher in the Rye- J.D. Salinger you've read it, read it again.
4) Nine Stories - J.D. Salinger with special emphasis on the first story, for you my friend. you'll get it.
5) Last Night on Earth Poems- Charles Bukowski it makes me sick to my stomach and in love with the feelingthere that should be good for a little bit. If you want some good poetry books let me know, i stuck ( ... )
