Two books to review today.
First up High School Bites by Liza Conrad.  Bites is about young Lucy Hellenburg who finds out on her sixteenth birthday that she is a descendant of the real life Lucy of Dracula fame.  As well as the fact that Dracula is still alive and that he wants her, badly.  Bites was ok, engrossing but ok.  I was sad that Dracula was the bad guy once again (my favorite book in which Dracula is NOT the bad guy is the Hellsing series).  And I still haven't come up with a rating system.

Storm Front by Jim Butcher is next.  Storm is about Harry Dresden the only wizard you'll find in the Chicago phone book.  Besides being a magical PI he also helps the police department solve mysterious, often magical crimes.  In this book Harry in faced with a killer who magically rips the hearts out of his or her victims.  I really enjoyed this book, it's kinda like the Anita Blake series but different.  well paced, funny, and spellbinding until the very end Storm Front is a well written novel.

School starts tomorrow *Bleh*.  Updating will be sporadic and most likely on the week-ends because of homework and the like.

'Til then, Ciao,
