I should have done this a while ago, but I got distracted by other things (like job hunting, and new books).
First up is Turn Coat by Jim Butcher. Turn Coat is the eleventh book in the Dresden Files series, which follows Chicago wizard Harry Dresden. This book has Harry trying to figure out if Morgan, another wizard who has never really liked Harry, really killed one of the members of the White Council. All in all this book is pretty awesome. It has a good mix of action and mystery and it has an epic fight scene at the end (and I mean epic, it would have fit right in in a movie). All in all, a great read that I highly recommend.
The next (and last) book is Beyond the Shadows by Brent Weeks. Which is the third book in the Night Angel trilogy. Despite the misgivings I voiced in my review of the second book (I was right BTW) it was still very good (even though what I wished wouldn't happen did happen it was done in a way that I didn't mind as much as I thought I would). I can't actually tell you what the book is about because then I would spoil the whole trilogy. Just trust me when I say that this book was worth the wait and even though it's over 600 pages long, every page is enjoyable.
Next up will be Cathy's Key and Empire of Ivory.
