Books and Goals
So. . . I finally decided to update again. I've been distracted (mostly by a renewed interest in Hellsing).
now for the book reviews:
First Singing the Dogstar Blues by Alison Goodman. Dogstar is about Joss and Mavkel (an alien) as Mavkel deals with the death of his twin. Dogstar is funny and serious and is a great book for teens and adults.
Last Smoke and Mirrors by Neil Gaiman. Smoke is a collection of short stories written by Neil in various time and places and is very good ( Chivalry, and We Can get Them for You Wholesale are just plain funny. The Price and The Wedding Present good but kind of strange. Babycakes is disturbing. And Nicholas Was. . . and Snow, Glass, Apples are unforgettable because they add twists to well know stories (morbid twists))
Some goals:
*Get job app. at Borders
* Finish reading drivers manual and get permit
*Convince parents to let me go to kumoricon
