So, I've been giving something a LOT of thought lately. And I came to a decision about it last night. Those of you on my Real ID already know, as well as a few others I chat with in MSN/AIM/whathaveyou. This is my formal announcement.
I am retiring Rain.
She's just so miserable and morose and depressing to play anymore. It's hard to get into her, she has so few IC friends left, and she's not the happy, trusting belf she once was, so her initiating walkup RP just doesn't happen. She's too reserved and wary now.
Why am I telling you this? Because there are some of you who may want a closure RP, which I am MORE than happy to provide. She was my first RP toon, and I still feel a connection to her. I may still write for her occasionally as I try to figure out how she would work through her issues. She's not being killed off. Just...shelved. For a long time. Maybe forever, maybe not.
However! I am brainstorming a new RP main. I still have my side characters, but I need someone to take the brunt of my RP/leveling attention. I'm considering a human....,but I don't know. Any suggestions? Anyone want to help me brainstorm/let me bounce ideas off of them until I get a decent personality/backstory going?
Feel free to comment here or contact me some other way if you'd like closure/goodbye RP, or are willing to just listen to me jabber on until I get an idea. ^.^
Oh, and Draken drew me surprise Rain!art yesterday just as I was deciding she needed to go away. So that I share with you. Thanks Draken!!!
