((OOC character planning))
So, a friend and I have been saying we need to RP more. And tonight he tossed out the generic comment of "Hey! Wouldn't it be awesome to do a pre-existing fambly tie?" Two hours of brainstorming later, and we have Purdie and Preston Darvill, Gilnean refugees. She's the protective older sister (at a ripe old age of 21) while he's the...well, dweebish and feeble younger brother. I plan on writing out the backstories for us as he is more for RP and READING the stories...though *I* think he writes great.
ANYWHO.
Purdie is a warrior, tough and calloused. She is about average height, and stocky but not brick shithouse-ish. If she ever cared to comb her hair or walk like a girl, she might be considered pretty by a select few, but she's definitely gap-toothed and rounder than most of the pretty gals. (Hello Eve Myles gorgeousness! Though, less polished. >.>) Her little brother, on the other hand...well. He has the shape Kate Moss would likely go gaga over. 17 and bookish, his momma's-boy tendencies showed when he decided to become a mage, while she followed in her revered daddy's footsteps.
She got saddled with brother's keeping. He was ridiculed and picked on growing up, and she was always there to take care of him, shooing off the bullies when needs be. WHICH AS WE ALL KNOW NEVER BACKFIRES!!! >.> ~ahem~
So, yeeeah. I'ma do a questionnaire for her, and write up the backstory. But since I'm not doing much with Rain for the moment (stupid healing from major injuries and whatnot) I thought I'd toss a new character into the journal. I'm actually pretty darned excited for this one! YAY!!
