The correct answer to 'Darn, we missed the new season of this show' is not, 'Let's screw around with Jayde's computers to hook them up to the bigscreen TV and then screw so much with the volume that she can't make it work without horrible feedback'.
It's 'Well, I guess we can WAIT and catch it on DVD.'

The correct answer to 'Hey, I found out this neat thing about a book for my literature class that makes it shorter' is not, 'That book you picked for the end of the semester looks so long, let me show you a gazillion shorter books that you don't care about.'
