I like that they strongly implied that Odin had lost his eye in war, but left it open to interpretation for those of us who know better.

I mean-- I am okay with interpretation, but I like Odin the Wyrd.

I suppose I mean that I like that they were able to cast wide the net and leave room enough for those of us who already knew what Yggdrasil was. That's some artifice right there.

I guess I don't have any kinship with Thor as a character. This movie was fine for me, did it all, solved everything very satisfactorily. I was kind of excited by the Stinger - so the Avengers really will fight the absorbing man and Loki? Hope so.

Yes; I don't have complaints! Or if I did it might be-- it was TOO polished, like it had been over-produced?

I like Thor, I like him as the heir. I liked that tension with Loki-- I like that current continuity has young Loki & he's a loyal Asgardian. I like Loki when he's like "haha, sorry, did I try to make the giants go to war with the humans? Hilarious, right?" & it is all a game.

Also, I liked "Odin-Sleep." Sometimes Odin passes out & goes into the Odin Sleep? Yeah, okay, fair enough.

Wait, why Absorbing Man? All I got from that was Cosmic Cube.
