He hates being tied down by TV shows and refuses to watch anything new! He only watches Thursday night. You know, The Office, Community, Parks and Recreation, and 30 Rock. And I have this problem with watching shows by myself, so that means for the most part that's all I watch too. Though I did watch the 2 hour premiere of Chuck last night when I was awake by myself and my internet was out, haha.

DVR is required for the proper enjoyment of television. I can't even imagine what it would be like to try to watch without it. I guess I'd just get dvds.

Oh yeah, we DVR all that we actually do watch. We haven't even had a DVR all that long and I don't know how we got along without it before.

Well so widen his viewing! Start with other half hour shows. I like mostly "light" hour shows, since there isn't anything amazing on the air anymore.

Watches ESPN, CNN (though not as much recently), plays video games, on the computer, etc. Oh, we also DVR Family Guy, SNL, Dexter, Flapjack, and Chowder.
