Dawn of the Dead 1976
I upgraded my DVD to the 4K UHD set, and the movie never looked so good! I've intentionally haven't watched this one in many years (just because I've seen it so many times). It felt fresh and looked wonderful. When it comes to zombie movies, there's none better. Grade: A+
Beetlejuice
I hadn't seen this movie since my VHS rental days. I only remembered bits and pieces. Rewatching it now...WOW! Michael Keaton does a masterful job as Beetlejuice. It's such an odd film conceptually, but it is a blast to witness. Grade: B+
Godzilla: King of the Monsters 1956
I wanted to show my kids the original 'Godzilla', but I knew they couldn't maintain interest in the Japanese-only version, so I showed them the American-ized version with Raymond Burr. It's flows really quickly and I think does a solid job of maintaining the spirit of the original. Grade: B+
