MOVIE DAY!
OKay, to sum things up...
Toy Story 3: Excellent movie, as usual from Pixar. Wound things up to be a wonderful end to the series, but also left it open for further movies...
I HOPE it doesn't go in that direction, but what can you do?
Despicable Me:
OH GAWD this movie was FUN! I didn't bother with the 3d version, but I can tell there arre several scenes that would have been breathtaking, including a short first-person rollercoaster ride. :)
The minions are adorable, Gru is awesome, the girls... Wow... Just perfect. :D
It even had several interesting twists that kept you guessing a bit, Surprising for a kids movie.
The soundtrack for the most part was great as well, however, the theme song, despicable me, is the most REPETATIVE tune in the history of cinema. It's literally two verses repeated over and over like.. EIGHT TIMES with slightly different beats in the background.... OY!
All in all, GO WATCH THIS MOVIE. Toy Story is great, but the audience seems a little specific, Despicable Me? ANYONE would get a kick out of it.
Also two trailers of interest.
Alpha and Omega. CGI Disneyesque wolves, looks like a lot of fun...
