Update
Oh geez it has been a while since I last updated. So what's new? It seems I'm drifting from the friends I made when I first got here at UNO. I guess I could say I've been busy but not so much. I think it is partially due to the fact that my roommate is sick and hasn't been in the room for the past 3 weeks. He came to the room today and told me he probably won't be back for the rest of the semester. Score! I have my own room and don't have to pay anything extra. It is sad that my roommate is sick, but he is very offensive. Living with him was stressing me out. So I've become a hermit. I lay in bed all day watching CNN freaking out about the events in the Middle East. (I have nothing better to do.) So to all those from UNO reading this don't think I'm an elitist. If you want to hang out, call me or come and get me from my room, 230 East.
I'm going to Chicago for March 22nd and 23rd. I've already bought my ticket. I'm meeting with a rabbi there. I'm pretty excited about the whole thing. I'm going to also see the sites in Chicago and try out a few of their kosher restaurants.
On another note, Elem. Statistics is kicking my butt. I got a poor start on the class and haven't been able to rebound. I'm going to drop it and take the class later when I get more into my major.
You know a few weeks ago I was a little depressed. Everything was looking down for me. Then I took my rabbi's advice and began to pray for God's help during the Shemonah Esrei. Now everything is looking up B"H.
Well this has been a little update on the lame life of Kyle. I'll post more tomorrow.
