Behind the scenes...

Apparently, the last time I updated was before UAAP. Hehe well... medyo matagal na yun. So here's what's happened so far:

1) UAAP - I won double bronze (one in the individual event and one in the team event). As much as I'm happy that I won (man, that was my first UAAP. Whew!
), I'm also disappointed in myself. My play for top 4 was a really close match. 14-15. Ok, it was 12-14 with my opponent from FEU leading (check out the pics in my site). So she had 1 more point to go to assure herself a top 4 standing (she was ranked #2 after the pouling and I was #5). She attacks, I tried to block it but I thought she hit me. With my hands resting on my knees and my head down I was crying to myself "I lost my chance! Coach told me to win a medal!" And then I saw Coach Wawit from the side clapping. "What's wrong? You scored a point!" And I checked the score bored - ONE LIGHT! Woohoo! So 13-15 na yun. Then I attacked 2 more times and there... I won.
That was for top 4. When I scored my last point, I yelled at the top of my lungs and I even lay down on the floor with happiness. Coach wasn't so happy with my performance. "That was a close call. Very close. That better not happen again." Nag-"yes, Coach. Sorry, Coach." naman ako. Next fight. Against Eloth from UE. Siya nakalaban ko last time sa finals ng Junior Opens. 0-15 ang score ko dun eh. Ang galing niya. Seryoso. She's my friend, too. Final score was 11-15. I was leading already at the start then I started retreating. I get paranoid when I'm leading sometimes cos I think "Oh no... she's going to catch up." Hay nako... stupid.
Ayan. Bronze lang ako. Tapos sa team event naman... ewan ko ba. Bawi na lang next time. I lost my chance to be Rookie of the Year (cos Eloth got it, winning double gold, along with MVP of the year) but there's next year to go for MVP. Our women's team also lost by 16 points to win the over-all championship. One more medal na lang! Leche...
Oh well... there's next year. Todo na toh! Kaya ba? KAYA!

2) Southeast Asian Fencing Federation Junior and Cadet Championships is on May and the Philippines is hosting it. I've been training under Coach Champ and Chester with my friends from UE and some other peeps for it for about a week now. It's kinda tough. Five stations is sooo tiring. Added pressure during opens and juniors cos out of all of us juniors from women's sabre, they're only choosing 4. I have to keep my top 4 ranking.
Kaya ba? KAYA!

3) Speaking of juniors, number 2 nanaman ako.
Number 1 pa rin si Eloth. 15-6 kami kanina. Hay nako. Kelangan ko na talagang gayutin toh. Opens sa Monday. Kaya ba? KAYA!

4) Four more weeks and I'm free from school. All I'm really worried about is Math 19. Please God, let me pass Calculus.
Ayokong mag-summer class! I want to spend my time fencing and with my friends. Leche. Gusto ko nga mag-States eh. Kaya ba? KAYA!

5) I really, really want a puppy!!!
After seeing and playing with Hero's cutie puppy Bochi!!! I swear, I'm going to melt. That dog is sooo!!! AAHHH!! It's beyond words!

Apart from all that...

I know I said I wanted my time. I know I said I needed space... but after all that, I still think about things. I still think about... I don't want to say it but there... Sigh... I miss it. I'm happy but I miss it. We'll see na lang. We'll see... Bilog din naman ang mundo at patuloy siyang umiikot. Babalik at babalik din.
