First Day Funk
First day is done. Pretty good, too. Then again, who am I to talk? My first day consisted of an hour and a half of Botany and that was it. I was off to my house to sleep yet again. But that one and a half hour class sure was something!
Okay, so I arrived at the Ateneo at around 7 am (my class starts at 7:30 am). Grabe, ang traffic sa Katipunan! I had my driver park at the SEC parking lot and off I was to look for my classroom. I found it the moment I got in the building 'cos it's right next to the entrance from the parking lot so off I went to look for people I know around the area. I bumped into my blockmate Matt who asked me where SEC was and I was like "Dude, we ARE in SEC! You are so going to get lost around here..." I found a couple of former Povedans standing by the fields, walked back and forth with Fen, bumped into my other blockmate Kim (who asked if I wanted to accompany her to the bathroom again), bumped into Mike, said goodbye to everyone at around 7:15 and went back to room SEC-A116A... and to my surprise...BJ DEJARESCO!!!
Laughtrip sobra!!! Tawa kami nang tawa! Di namin na-expect na magiging classmates kami. Wala lang... Funny... So I sit next to BJ, chat a bit, blockmate Stef comes along and Stef and I start making fun of our teacher who was at the front... Dudes, he was OLD!!! And I mean, jurassic! Seryoso! He needed a mic to be heard in our small classroom. And when he first turned on the mic, he coughed/hacked or whatever and I literally jumped up in my seat and grabbed Stef. Seryoso... ewan ko lang ha, pero feel ko... wag na lang. Baka ma-karma lang ako. Haha =P
Needless to say, after 10 minutes in the classroom, after a prayer and all, the prof tells us that the Botany class was moved to a different room. A chorus of sighs and reliefs as we moved along to room 123. Botany's cool... or at least I'm cool with my classmates there: BJ, Stef, Mabe, Tala, Noel... See you guys tomorrow!
