Some days I just want off the planet.

Girl starves to death as father gambles.

Apparently her parents knew she was dangerously underweight for a considerable period of time, but ignored a doctor who told them to bring her in for weekly weighing requests. This was part of a pattern of neglect, with doctors' and specialists' appointments being repeatedly cancelled or ignored. She was being medicated by her mother with prescription drugs intended for adults.

But hey! What right did those so-called "medical experts" have to interfere in their family life? Shouldn't her care have been left up to her loving mummy and daddy? Maybe she was comfy on that urine-stained matress. Maybe a room knee-deep in trash and insects is the perfect environment to stimulate inquisitive young minds! It could be like a giant ball pit!

Those "specialists," those cold-eyed microfascist drones of Big Pharma, with their "averages" and "optimal ranges" and their weight charts and their "your kid is half the weight she should be, blah-blah-blah." How do they know that this particular seven-year-old wasn't supposed to weigh 9 kilograms? Maybe she didn't want to be dragged off to some cold, clinical hospital to be subjected to intrusive tests to find out of she was the "right" height and weight. Right for what? Right to please THE STATE, of course.

And now they've used this as an excuse to tear her siblings from their loving parents' arms, branding their radical brand of nutritionism "starvation," and their EBM-free faminly-centric healthcare as "neglect." This is nothing more not less than the first sign of the rise of a global police state.

Anyway the kid was autisitc so she's obviously better off now. Everyone knows that autistic kids don't feel pain like normal kids, and it's okay for their parents to murder them because they are Suffering.

In somewhat happier news, Daniel Hauser is back in hospital and might actually live. His chances are somewhat reduced by being subjected to medical neglect, but it's still looking good.
