Utterly gratuitous plug.

I have probably bent a lot of yr ears about Scarlet Imprint, a small-press publisher of limited-edition magical texts. If you like your books very shiny and can afford to splash out on something a bit special, ( read on... )

Yeah I was HELLO, ATHEIST too and so were plenty of my fellow God-botherers. But Gods are like HELLO, 10000000 YEARS MORE PRACTICE BEING REAL THAN YOU HAVE NOT BELIEVING IN ME SO YAR BOO SUX ALSO GIVE ME STUFF.

Book recs: Not terribly well-versed in the Hellenic deities, myself, so at a loss as to what might be helpful. Hoom. Most of my booklist is Norse-specific so not much help, or largely unrelated to God-bothering. I want to say Raven Kaldera; although he's Northern Trad, he writes a lot about spirit-work and polytheism generally. Website here: http://www.cauldronfarm.com/index.html

For more general practice, I find just knocking around with other people in a similar line helpful, even if they're not in my specific trad. So Hellenists, Vodouisants, devotees of personal spirits or Nameless Deities, etc. You might want to think about joining Liminal Nation and picking a few branes over there. (I'd suggest getting in touch with Gypsy Lantern in particular, he helped me out a great deal in the confusing early stages and has continued to bail me out when things got wobbly later on.)

Happy to pass on any of my own stuff if you're interested. Drop me a line with yr preferred email (xampayne2012 AT yahoo DOT co DOT uk).

Will sleep on it and get back to you with more useful resources in the morning.

Thanks! That's enormously helpful. I will try and find some Hellenists (and start with Raven Kaldera, too).

Sorry for not answering this sooner, btw, I was hiding from my email because my mother is using it to upset me during this Christmas season.
