An update of sorts
I haven't had the opportunity to sit down, leisurely, and write anything worthy as of late. The internet was taken away from the majority of the computers at work, so I don't have the chance to get online as much. The times that I am I'm so tired that I can't form a straight thought.
Work has been great. I'm not learning anything new, but that's ok with me. I want to get used to doing what I need to do first and perfect that before I go on. I can't believe that I've been there over a month already.
Socially I've been fairly busy. I'm still going to Club? every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The events are getting better and the regular days are getting to be more fun (with a few exceptions.) I've learned how to play bar dice and except for the first time, my dice force is all but gone. Until I come to Club? with a plethora of money, I can't play anymore. =^(
Today we ventured to the State Fair. Now normally I am not one to "appreciate" the white trashy-ness that usually accompanies said events, however today was different. Maybe it was because I was overly tired. Maybe it was because I just wasn't looking. Regardless of the reasonings behind it all, I was witness to NO mullets! There was no one....NONE...zippo....that I could poke fun of. I would be lie-ing if I said it ruined my experience, but it was definitely not expected. Neither was getting hit on by countless guys....but then, I did look hot today. I saw my future bike....drools. If I get the pics uploaded, I'll edit this post and include a picture of the bike. We ate some. Drank some (not alcohol...but rather lemon-ade.) Bought some stuff. I think it would be safe to say that a good time was had by all.
Beyond all that, it's the normal routine daily crap.
*Gotta clean the house
*Gotta cut the grass
*Gotta clean up the yard....oye
*Gotta do the laundry
All the generic crap that no one really wants to/cares about/needs to know.
So there you have it in a nutshell.
Oh, I'm thinking of going to the Ren Faire on Sunday, August 26. If anyone is interested let me know.
Now I'm exhausted after grilling out. I think it's time to watch a movie.... Ice Age me thinks.
