Nodame Cantabile
I immensely enjoyed Nodame Cantabile Live Action. As.in. love love love the series. perhaps my almost nonexistent talent in music (4 years of playing piano/organ) made me enjoy this a notch higher. I may -- again may -- try to read the manga, but i am not sure since the drawing feels off; i like my manga characters bishi and sexy. i think what enticed me into the series more was the sound... you can appreciate it more than just reading and not hearing it really.
i highly recommend that parents watch this with their children. it tells us that talents if not nurtured gets buried, individuals must seek opportunities for themselves if it does not present itself to them, and most importantly encounters or interactions with people are important to be able to achieve what you want or go where you want to go.
