The other week, I went to Chris's camp up in Pulaski and one night while we, Mike, Chris, Martin, and I were all sitting around a fire on the beach, we got into a discussion about why Buffy is great. And my first thought was because it was a feminist show, but after discussing it a little bit, I realized that's not why I like Buffy. I like Buffy because it has so many metaphors for life and the lessons we learn in life.
But later when I was trying to explain this to Chris, he argued with me and said that wasn't very deep. So I am currently watching Buffy and trying to write an essay based on why Buffy is good and is NOT a shallow metaphor for life and life's lessons.
So I decided to watch The Zeppo. Which is an extremely silly Buffy episode. Poor Xander.
Any comments, on either side of the argument, would be helpful. It's been a while since I wrote an essay so this is actually kind of exciting. I want to go back to school. Someone be my sugar daddy and send me back to school, please.
