I was surfing the net today and I came across the
Die fanlisting. The title is 'Ain't Afraid to Die.' After a moment, I read the title again, closely. And then I laughed because that's a pretty good pun.
Speaking of Die, I want to pass along a link:
Genki, an awesome shrine to Die. Look at the
section about his hair. Whoo. 2004-2005... my goodness. Wait. No. Starting with the Macabre tour of 2000-2001. Die, you're a beautiful man. And an awesome guitarist.
Warcon Records is supposed to have some
Dir En Grey America Invasion news pretty soon. Guys. If I can see Die live in concert, I'll be a happy, happy girl.
How does my sister know my personal life? And why does she have to talk about the last guy I slept with infront of my grandmother? My grandmother!? And just give it away.
Collin, I think it was when you were over and we were talking and she walked in. Whatever happened, she heard something I said and told my fucking grandmother. Can't a 24 year old girl have a sex life without her grandmother hearing about it? I hate my sister.
Okay, not really. Sometimes I want to. She embarassed me.
I really like the cell phone commercial where the guy sings 'Urgent' by Foreigner.
Am I the only one who thinks that The Seeker's 'Kiss for SALOME' sounds like a club mixed boss castle track from Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past? It really does to me.
No, I don't like the music from the NANA movie.
To the person who asked me for the Origa 'Rise' mp3, you should sign up for an account
here and get it. They have thousands upon thousands of songs including Rise. It's where I got my copy from. And it's also where I get most of my anime music from... most of my Ghost in the Shell, Samurai Champloo, etc music.
Met a guy named Wu (or something) in the hallway of BAL today and he asked me if I would help him with some research thingy in his office for his doctoral disertation. Since I can never say no to an Asian man or a man getting his doctorate, I said sure. It's for this new search engine that he's making. So, first I had to kind of answer a few questions to establish that I knew how a real search engine worked. It was against this typical search engine model that I was to compare how his seemed to work, I suppose. He was a nice guy, really, so I felt really bad at first that I wasn't getting it. I felt like maybe I was making him feel bad. His search engine was pretty awesome once I started to figure out how it worked. At first I felt like a total idiot because nothing about the search was making sense. I would type into it that I wanted articles on simulation software used in health class lessons, and it would give me something about BBS chatroom use in science class. After a while of testing it out (and being assured my dismay was normal), though, I finally got it and felt tons better. Once I understood how the engine worked, I liked it a lot better and made sure Wu knew this since I thought his engine was super cool.
He paid me.
I didn't want the money, but I got tired of trying to push it back or ignore it.
Then, I went back to BAL with my loathesome map analysis textbook to get some reading done. It was hard to concentrate. I kept feeling paranoid that someone was staring at me, watching me, writing their english assignment about me or drawing a picture of me. Seriously. Both have happened... just read the next blog. I kept thinking, 'how is it that I look lonely but determined?' I figured I am going to be lonely no matter what, that can't be helped, so I just tried to look as undetermined as possible to break the norm.
My sister told me later that I look lonely but determined in the way I sit there, stare at everyone around me, watch them, and then prompty engross myself in reading again.
I thought I got a 60 on my art history test until I realized that the numbers aren't listed by the last four digits of your SS Number, but my UIN number. Whoo. That would have been some hardcore bullshit there.
Wednesday, I am going to go check out the
Civil War photo exhibit at the
Chrysler Museum.
My official (yes, it's not just the approved fanlisting, but the official one because I endorse it :P ) now has 14 members. That makes me happy to see.
I think that I will stop for now.
Oh, Kel bought me this massive X wall scroll. I am going to put it up this weekend. She also sent me some amazing drawings. I'll get out the digital camera and take a picture when I can. This weekend. I have tests and shit this Friday. Lots.
I've decided that I am going to post pictures of my other favorite Daisuke: Die. I talked about him in the first paragraph and stuff, so I figured he'd be the one I feature in my usual little selection of images.
