i can hear a collective rumbling in america
so i'm home :)
i feel better about it all this time, it doesn't seem as fucking strange as it did. maybe it's because i technically don't have any obligations (other than getting a job) for 5 weeks? yeah, sounds pretty good, i'm not gonna lie :)
i do want to:
-take up knitting and knit profuse amounts of crazy-colored things
-visit everyone that i know along the east coast :)
-go exploring
-watch many strange films, particularly andy warhol films, not because i think he is some demi-god, but because i've just always been curious to see them
-bake
-road trip it up to new england and visit my aunt, uncle, and cousin
and perhaps many, many more!
i am so pumped to go to the banksy show in the city on tuesday, and then the gallery opening later that night. t'will be fun :)
i am officially in the holiday mood. it's snowing/wintery stuff outside, and i shoveled snow this morning. my dad picked me up from MICA yesterday and we stopped off at roadside america on the way home. it was cute, i can appreciate the artsmanship of extreme miniatures. and then we went out to eat at a diner next door. god i missed diners, i think i will be practically living in them over break! anyway, i feel like my dad and i bonded. good times.
tomorrow:
-wake up early, go to MHS and throw on the wheel
-FIND A JOB
-go to library, check out books on knitting, teach myself how to be crafty
