R-R-recs #1 - Multifandom
I'm taking what is usually spuzz's job and reccing some graphics posts I came across tonight that really caught my eye.
I'm hoping to make a dent in some more of the community interest icons this weekend, cross your fingers. In the meantime take a few seconds to wander through the Fall Fandom Free for All. Help some other people out with what they've requested and people will help you out, too.
sanami276 and badbadpixie are having a wallpaper battle right now and their first post was of Supernatural wallpapers, featuring Dean Winchester.
Both of the wallpapers are extremely well made and gorgeous but sanami276's especially caught my eye with the blending, the lighting and the simplicity of it. Both wallpapers can be seen in the post where the clickable image leads to.

The icon maker embraces bright, vibrant colouring without going overboard on the ones that provide it, tones down the Gossip girl cast icons and sticks with simplicity for them, and shows a good grasp of texture use on the Lost ones. Great cross selection of icons and variety.

There's some gorgeous texture work and experimentation with colouring in this post. Even though there have been tonnes of TDK icons in the past few months some people continue to bring amazing work and eye catching ones. Some of the icons are a little overdone but they all try something different and aren't what you see in the typical icon masses.

The SPN icons are totally what makes this post for me. I love the lighting, the colouring and the texture use in this set. The cropping is wonderful and all the elements work together to make gorgeous icons as a set or individually. They're simple icons but each one has something to draw your eye to the focus and keeps you entertained. Awesome work.
