(no subject)
I maintain that The World Ends With You is a trippy, silly, cute fluffy game that gives me handcramps trying to figure out what everything does without properly reading their instructions. When you are given 50+ pins as your weapons and told to use them, but each has a different attack command with the stylus, you're bound to forget. X3
The characters are also pretending to be people in my brain. Joshua is very obviously Brandon, especially now that I've shoved enough crepes into the man's stomach that he can wear high heels and still be fucking awesome (he's also ungodly fast, always chasing things and dragging you after because if he dies, you're fucked, and IMPOSSIBLY vague while still being charmingly coy and adoreably GIRLY. XD Dye his hair chestnut brown, give him blue contacts, he's totally Brandon.). Mr. H(insert rest of name here XD) is very obviously River (owns a cafe where he passes out coffee, fixes broken equipment, tall gangly man with perpetual-shadow, never seems to be upset, doles out advice left and right... am I missing much? XD). The Grim Heaper, because his name is absurdly long and I don't care how many Ms there really are in it, is Motke if you cross your eyes enough (touted as a brilliant tactician with enough foresight that the entire organization has let him have full reign of the game, and issues his challenges in MATHS!? Yes. XD Doesn't look like him, but goes postal every now and again and insults you in ways that make you go "O_o was that... was that english? Are you sure?" XD). I'm really, really, absolutely enjoying it. And am approximately 2/3 through the game and going "WTF!?!??!!?!?!?!??!?!?!" every so many seconds.
That said, I was GOING to go watch Full Metal Jacket while my DS recharges again (game rewards you with XP for turning the game off. XD), but Qui's online now. <3 ^^ So. Maybe less of that? I dunno. I was going to write Harry and John (Varyin & Bronson, respectively), but ... Maybe posting? :D *chirp* Or not. Or whatever.
