(no subject)
My boss-lady decided today she liked me, and called me up going "why is there no paper in my box for your review? get your butt in here and we'll make you a raise."
I got a 2% increase (oooh, aahhh...) which is like, 19 cents or something, per hour. XD WOOHOO!! I'M ROLLING!
Except that it's back-dated to my anniversary of employment, which makes it like... she owes me ... 800 hours worth of 19 cents increases. XD UM. Win. Big win. :D That's like... a hundred bucks or something. (Maths? What are those?)
So big win that. Bought new writing books yesterday. Devouring Hornblower so I can read technical manuals on a skill I already have. I am a strange, strange girl. Or something.
Airport to pick up Court tomorrow night, so probably won't be online/friendly when I get home. Friday is the sekrit partee #1, Saturday is sekrit partee #2. So long as no one opens their big-ass mouths while we're all plastered, it shall stay a sekrit. :D
I'll take my laptop over to Mom's Friday night, probably, so I have it there should something strike me while I'm ... supposed to be sleeping. XD;

Anyway. Lunch break now. Time to go read. :D They're plotting war with Russia and Sweden against France. <3 And thinking how to deal with the attempted assassination of the monarchy. I can't understand my love of this series. I just know that I read the first three pages of every book and am sold. That's all I can think of for a long, long time after.
Unfortunately, this means that Motke scene won't get written until ... Sunday. At the earliest. XD OH WELL? XD
