River/Brandon was the pairing Jules decided she'd back for Chasing Sunset, and for Christmas past she decided to request the fic that showed to failed lovin' that made me insist they were pretty much doomed as a romantic anything. The Christmas before, I wrote the flocked and untitled piece, which was their first meeting. This one, essentially, is their last.
I'm never writing out what happens after this point, not as prose, anyway. This is the last piece in the Chasing Sunset timeline, as far as it involves this generation of Hunters. I might use Lief's and Anise's kids later (I can totally see them trying to kick it old school like their daddy <3), but that'd be ten years down the line, after Ren's probably been tossed in a volcano, animatronic hand and all.
If you want, I circulate my first drafts to people I think might enjoy them. If you still want to understand, you can give me your e-mail, I'll send Chasing Sunset ala attachment with the caveit that it's got massive holes because it was written for NaNoWriMo *offer*.
I'm really going to gripe about the last week of November this year. I won't have any pornographic Hunter suggestions from Julesy to try to PG the crap out of. ;_; Unfair for the obvious reasons, but also because those were the ones I really enjoyed, for the challenge of it.
