(no subject)
Here's a quick update just to let everyone know that I'm still alive. Christmas was good..Brian, Alyx and I celebrated our first Christmas together as a family. It was nice and a little overwhelming for Alyx and I. Couldn't have asked for better gifts, and it was nice to spend some time with the family since my mom just made it home from the hospital just in time for Christmas.
Brian and I are said to be engaged..Haven't set a date yet, and frankly, we're in no rush to tie the knot. We're just going to take things as they come and just go with the flow...who knows where the flow will even take us.
School is a third of the way over..YES!!! Passed all three of my classes with B's. I'm very suprised because I got a B in Anatomy and Physiology. I was so worried at the beginning of the semester that I was going to fail that course becasue I didn't get anything. A good friend of mine told me to relax and not to be so worried because it was next to impossible to study for that course. I took his advice and look where it got me...a freakin' B..YES!! That right there is a cause for celebration.
Next semester I'm taking on a full load...18 credits and 7 classes..wish me luck...Senior Seminar, Embalming II, Law, Restorative Arts, Psycology, Funeral Management II, and Microbiology..fun times.
On a sadder note, I had to put my cat down to sleep the day after Christmas..She was really sick with mammary cancer, which had spread to her insides. That's pretty sad considering she was only 8 years old. Now after my brother goes back up to Central, my mom won't have anyone to take care of except herself...Now she'll really have empty nest syndrome. For Christmas, by fiance suprised me with a cute black kitten, that he named Snowball.
This will be it for now before Alyx disconnects the computer.
