hello? has anyone seen my mind? i seem to have misplaced it somewhere on this road with so many twists and turns... turns out this road is not so long as once thought. in fact, it is quite short... maybe too short, for i very much enjoy this trip. You never know what's around the next bend, or sometimes even right in front of you. It's odd, how in our childhood these paths, these journies, seemed so lucid, so clear. So eager to reach for the horizon that we do not stop to cherish the journey. and now it seems that our view is clouded by our own ambitions, not knowing whether to go forward or attempt to stay put or back track. Maybe too scared to move forward, into the unfamiliar territory beyond the boarders of comfort. maybe, along my road, ill reach an intersection some day... maybe ill stop trying to go backwards on this road to redeem my past mistakes, turn around, and enjoy the view of a beautiful horizon while there's still one to admire.
