Religion is hilarious

So, I've been wondering how far I should go to cement our position in the neighbourhood as an incredibly wholesome couple. We attend the stupid potlucks, and neighbourhood parties and box socials and whatever the fuck but so far the Doctor and I have both agreed that church is stupid.

ALL right, forget the gloves and hat. But considering that the churches themselves are morally bankrupt, surely if we went it would only be a way of getting involved in the community without any worry of our own investment in the religion.

Why are you so keen to impress upon the community that we're a "wholesome couple"? They have a good enough opinion of us without our going to church.

Besides, we're right on the cusp of "living in sin" or so Alice informs me.
