Every now and then i dabble in dark ambient. I've decided to make this list of my darkest work.
2004:
Space II
Very early minimalistic experiments of dark droning ambient. I recorded this instead of doing a big assignment in high school and got a D- as a result. This album set me on a path that would forever change my life, so the bad grade was totally worth it. 2011:
VHSゾンビの夜
Originally released in November 2011 as Moralix VS The Time Machine. This album is heavily chopped and screwed and would have been the darkest and most sinister vaporwave album in 2011, had i been part of the scene back then. Sinister
Title says it all. I was sick of the world and everything in it when i made this. All four tracks were made by chopping, screwing and slowing down existing pieces until they were really dark and mean. Released on Girly Girl Musik. https://girlygirlmusik.bandcamp.com/album/sinister
Beyond the Cursed Path

Shattered Despair - with Fae Moonbeam

Teddy's Nightmare (as Moralix)
2019 was the year where i took my old alias out of retirement and started making noise experiments as Moralix. Teddy's Nightmare is the darkest Moralix album and features an eerie tale of a broken old bear who haunts the other stuffed animals at night. Nightmare on Drone Mountain - with Alan Morse Davies

Endless Maze
I worked on this album on and off for almost an entire year and i feel like this is my magnum opus when it comes to dark ambient. An earlier version of this album was released in June 2019 as Urban Wasteland, but i wasn't satisfied with how the album turned out and felt like i had to revisit it. I provided three tracks to this collaborative album curated by CODS, who also made all the samples i used on my tracks. Fae was a big help on these tracks, as i would not have been able to finish them without her. Some of my darkest stuff is on this album. This is kind of a work in progress but the album is available for purchase and anyone who purchases it will get the remaining tracks as they get added.
