[commentloggu] HONEY I'M HOMEEEE-- virtualmenace May 10 2010, 23:58:10 UTC
[Return he does, after several minutes; a large bread-roll wrapped in a napkin held in one hand, a cup of water in the other. Prior to this, he'd been scrounging for whatever edibles remained in the cafeteria. He'd seen seen the post on the network, as he never goes anywhere without the frustratingly stupid device. Yet he loathed to use it as well, if it were not for just checking up on a few things... And so, once again, Discedo became more of an enigma.

After maneuvering the dinner about, the knob twists, the door creaks open. Set to say his usual greeting anyway, the words never come. All right, so he looked angrier than he'd anticipated, for whatever reason it may be. Mokuba receives an appraising look.]

What is it?

[ He looks up the second the door begins to open, attempting to steel himself, though his pulse fluttered nervously. After the reaction Noa had given about the locket --this he mourned in that second, clueless to where the shattered pieces and ripped picture had gone--. And as the older boy enters, he frowns even more, the urge to run or yell or do something rising together all at once. Instead, he says at calmly as possible:]

I remembered, Noa.

[commentloggu] ;o; you wouldn't... virtualmenace May 11 2010, 00:36:15 UTC
[He's taken aback at just how direct the statement is. And it shows on his face, just for a split second -- a flash of both anger and disappointment. But it's gone just as quickly, replaced with his Not-Quite-All-There smile. This time, it's an honest, twisted smile; not the usual masquerade of misplaced confidence.

Of course, he'd been anticipating this day. There's moment in which he deliberates whether Mokuba was actually being serious or not, and as to just how much he recalled: no need to jump to conclusions, after all. Best to tread carefully.

Still. He can't help notice the sick feeling of dread rising in his stomach.]

Oh? And what is it exactly that you remember?

[ The flash of anger had been expected. More than expected. Mokuba had been prepared, though he really knew otherwise, for full on rage. It was the disappointment that caught him off guard and left him confused. He fought the feeling down, though the following smile seemed to do the job well enough.

He tried not to let his uneasiness show on his face, but took a few steps back for good measure, though hopefully still inline with the door. Being the brother of a multi-billionaire, you got used to needing to be prepared to make a run at the drop of a hat. ]

Everything. You took me from Seto, and you lied to me about him. You changed my memories, and made me hate him! You-- [ Hurt him. Shot him. Mokuba couldn't seem to force the words out. A sick feeling was rolling around in his stoamch. At the time, he had just sat by and let it happen. The feeling intensified. ]

You tried to turn me against him!

[ Oh, Mokuba. He knows you're afraid, afraid because you're one of the few people here that knows just what he's fully capable of. But it would be meaningless, meaningless because he couldn't do anything. He was limited-- and yet, at the same, this place made him the opposite of that.]

I didn't try. [He says after a moment, the words bitter.] I succeeded. I always succeed.

[And he remains still for a moment, gauging the boy and looking down at him. Then he turns to the table and sets the bread and water down upon it, almost thoughtfully so. He does not look back up, though the smirk doesn't leave his visage.]

And just what are you going to do about it?

[ The uneasiness grew, and his lips pressed together in a tight line. Even if Noa was limited, Mokuba was well aware of what he could do regardless of any limitations Discedo put on him. After all, how many under-fifteens in this city carried guns? ]

No you didn't. Because I don't hate him. I told you before, Noa. I love Nii-sama and he loves me.

[ The sudden movement caused Mokuba to tense up for a moment, glancing nervously at the table, before relaxing as the groceries were only put down. Maybe this would be easier than he had thought? Discedo did change people. But that smirk tells him otherwise, and his eyes never leave Noa. ]

I'm going to go stay with Nii-sama from now on. He probably won't bother you anymore when I'm gone.

[If there was anything that upset him, it was the prospect of failure. A pit of envy boiled in his stomach as he heard the other boy's words of "loving" his brother. Yet, they were such inane emotions...
If Mokuba was going to leave, he knew that now there wasn't any way to stop him aside from using physical force. Even then, it seemed pointless to having to wrestle the other boy to the ground. That wasn't what he wanted. But another thought occurred to him: perhaps he wouldn't have to do such in the end. There was a simpler solution to this issue.

The boy's smirk changed into a smile, one that looked almost genuine. He reached behind him and slowly opened the door, holding it ajar for Mokuba to take his exit; although whilst still standing near to it.]

Very well. You may leave.
