ADVICE FROM ANYONE WHO PWNS AT GAME OF LIFE!
i want and/or need opinions from anyone who feels like giving it!
i will graduate in december, and i only need to take 7 hrs next fall to graduate. i have roughly three paid internships available to me (in my field, which is like.. HOLY SMOKES!) and one of them, which ..if they get the grant from the government i'm 89% sure i'll get it, goes all the way through april 2011. HELLO. i'm thinking if i only do 7 hrs of class work, then i could easily do two internships. even if i only get the one that's 15/hr for 20 hrs a week, that's still 1,200 a month for me to pay rent and eat food off of. i could even save! i could pay my parents back for their portion of my portugal trip!
but i feel like this is too good to be true. can anyone think of any reasons not to do this? the idea was initially for me to move out in may because the lease i sign is a year long - i'd have to be here from june to june, basically. but i'm sure i could work and intern in austin - there's SO much to do here! and it's a way better city than any other city in texas (the south, i'd even venture to say).
