is it sick that i want pac-man seats? really. if they had backs, i'd be sold.
really great day today - not as productive as i hoped it'd be, but at least i started. and that's always the hardest part, so the start is there. now i just have to flesh out my outline, and we're gold. then write a draft for the crim paper. two drafts is my goal for this weekend, i want them to be as completed as possible - if not entirely done. i can do it, i know i can. i've got a mormon pamphlet with jesus on it, i can't go wrong!
i don't know what anyone else saw of the palin biden debate, i only caught the gay marriage part. biden is fifty times the politician palin is! i can almost feel the sliminess here, he's really quite talented. i read somewhere that it was a tie - my ass. i have a feeling this generation is going to get a taste of the nixon v. jfk debate when obama and mccain come together.
old news is starting to get more interesting than current news. by this point i just don't want obama to get shot, really. just to have a black candidate is a huge step for america, it'd be so awful if this ended in tragedy and no-one dared to do it again. i'll admit that this sounds excessively pessimistic, but i can't once believe america's ready to have a black president. not yet, no way. though he is the lesser of two evils, so i would vote for him if only to have a democratic party in the executive but my voice doesn't count anyway. i'm not an american citizen, and i don't vote in sweden. what right do i have to do that when i don't live there? so i'll stick to reading world, sports and puppy news every day and ignore presidential elections. probably for the best since i still cannot understand how there's only two parties, how can you make a government out of that? whatever. i do know that never, ever am i going to be outside the states during an election year again though, i need jon stewart's protection. no more getting my us politics from "real" politicians, i'll take fake news any day.
