boy, the nap took me miiiiiles away from the world today. for hours. i even slept through the open door night. last year i was out studying for chem, this year i slept through it. last year i missed the ghost stories at the PJJ because i felt too claustrophobic to stay and listen, this year i was huddling outside in the rain waiting to bang on the windows for one of the ghost stories. SA tradition! but ...yeah. go figure. oh well, no loss there, i'll see them some other way.
have i mentioned i'm now officially in a 9 hour lab? fuck me sideways, that's 27 hours of the week that i'm in class. that's ten hours over the maximum, by the by. it hurts my brain.
so i've been watching tv tonight, considering i've got a morning to sleep in for once in my freaking week! i can do italian hwk then. dude, tonight's been the night for fucktastic special guests. john hannah and felician huffman on fraiser, dr. phil (with a poker/gambling problem that he hides from his wife), leslie nielson on golden girls, and oh my fucking god, the one that takes the cake: VIGGO MORTENSEN ON THE COLBERT REPORT! i was laughing for two, three minutes as soon as i was out of the "..is that ..IT IS!!" shock.
meeting dr. latham tomorrow, hopefully she'll write me a rec letter. this weekend i've got a genetics exam to study for, and writing my application essay for studying abroad. next week is gonna be tougher than this week, yay.. i'm waiting to watch the re-run of the colbert report now just for viggo. then i'm off to bed.
