[For Chris]

Although Lennox didn't have much of a problem with the new climate, he had to admit that the intense humidity made it a little more difficult to do a lot of physical work without feeling like he was ready to pass out. It was just too hot some days and although he still went to work, he found excuses more and more often to go home a little earlier than usual, which was what he'd done today. The humidity got to him and it was the reason he was sprawled out on the bed he shared with Chris, his arms flung wide and his eyes closed as he tried to find a way to cool down.

It just wasn't happening.

Wiggling on the bed, Lennox kicked off one shoe and then the other, then lifted his feet up so that he could tug off his socks. Even that seemed to take too much energy on this hot afternoon and he groaned before flopping still again, his socks still in his hands.

For a long time he just lay there until he heard someone running up to the hut outside and he carefully lifted his head off the bed to see if anyone was going to burst inside. Sure enough, less than ten seconds later, the door flew open and Chris came flying inside, looking... well, about as disgustingly warm as Lennox felt.

"What're you doing, man?" he asked with a sleepy smile, looking at him through the open bedroom door.
