ooc : relationships
Kaworu's relationships are all listed in chronological order in regards to when he met them, because it's just easier that way. The deeper the shade of purple in the second column, the closer he feels to them. Organizing Kaworu's relationships is a little challenging, because he finds it so easy to like people. He has yet to meet anyone he dislikes or doesn't care about on some level. Certain individuals may have made more of an impact on him, because of something they said, did, etc. So, uhm, in short, 'closeness' may be relative.

RUBEDO/JUNIOR
♥ Kaworu's first roommate. They also haven't gotten to talk for very long yet, though Kaworu thought he was very nice.

OTACON
♥ Kaworu likes Otacon a lot. He makes Kaworu think of an older version of Shinji (in the least inappropriate way possible), and subconsciously may be finding comfort in having a nurturing adult figure of some sort in his life. Otacon also broke Kaworu's fourth wall, so he's aware that in some worlds he's a character on a television show. Now Kaworu feels especially comfortable talking about where he came from with Otacon. He also equates Otacon's relationship with Snake to his own with Shinji. SORRY, OTACON.

KANJI TATSUMI
♥ Kaworu managed to totally upset Kanji by asking a series of really weird questions. Not the best way to make friends, but Kaworu really did find Kanji fascinating. So fascinating that he forgot to ask what his name was.

SHO MINAMIMOTO
♥ Sho and Kaworu had a bit of confusion over shared terminology (i.e. 'angel') and how Kaworu closely resembled a certain light-haired teen that Sho's not fond of. Kaworu was interested in figuring out what information it was they shared, and what was different, and wasn't bothered by Sho's quirks.
YOUSUKE HANAMURA
♥ Kaworu first met Yousuke during the zombie invasion, and was moved by Yousuke's willingness to help and protect him. Kaworu thinks Yousuke has a kind heart, and is very interested in figuring him out. Since Yousuke is more prone to joking and asking normal-people-style questions, Kaworu's been ever so slightly off balance talking with him.
Yousuke is no longer in the game.
NAOTO SHIROGANE
♥ Like Yousuke, Naoto was there with Kaworu during the zombie invasion. He thought she was very professional and mysterious, and he had a hard time reading her.
Naoto is no longer in the game.
"SEAN"
♥ Kaworu was visited by a boy who looked and acted exactly like Shinji. This visit began to make Kaworu understand the impact his death had on Shinji, and it's made him question his own death and whether or not anything he knew from his past world is relevant. Because Shinji made Kaworu promise to try, and plainly expressed how upset he was that Kaworu had died, Kaworu is developing more motivation and more of a survival instinct. I don't think he knows what do do with either of these things, but it's an improvement.
"Sean" is not a real character in damned, nor is he actually Shinji (sdatislife). He's just an NPC via damned_visitors for the Visitor event that took place on Day 43. See below for the real Shinji.
TSUKASA
♥ Kaworu thinks Tsukasa seems very sad and delicate, and he does have a deep fondness for people he finds to be vulnerable. He gave Tsukasa a piano lesson, but forgot to ask for his name.
LUFFY
♥ Luffy is... exciting. Kaworu has never met someone as genuinely happy and energetic as Luffy, and he's fascinated by it.
Luffy is no longer in the game.
