Oh good - it was hard to balance my desire to put in little allusions to both canons with the need to make it comprehensible to readers familiar with only one. I'm so happy to hear that you liked it, thank you for reviewing.
Also, given the ending of the story, your icon is made of win.
I'm of course terribly offended that you enjoyed my story enough to encourage others to read it. For shame. ;-)
Seriously though, wow, thank you so much, both for commenting and for giving it good press. The most frequent comment I've gotten about this story is, "I wasn't going to read this because I thought it was going be horribly crack-y, but then it wasn't," so I really appreciate people encouraging others to give my odd little crossover a shot.
Thank you so much for commenting, I'm really glad you enjoyed the story. As to the headings, are you referring to the gorgeous banners that angelicfoodcake made for me, or to the silly LJ-cuts that I tend to think of as Easter-eggs (I had made them early in the editing process and was about to ditch them entirely before I realized I needed cut texts)? Also, out of sheer curiosity, do you know if this got recced someplace recently that I don't know about? No comments for two weeks and all of a sudden I've had six in the last four days. Not that I'm complaining. ;-)

I don't know if it's been recced, but I found a link to it on del.icio.us, which might explain it?
